Welcome
Jane graduated with a BA (Hons) 1st class degree in Fashion and Textiles from the University of the West of England, Bristol, in June 2007.
Jane works with textiles, in a range of media from wire work, stitching, dyeing and painting fabrics and screen printing onto paper and textiles. Her designs and collages are digitally printed onto fabrics and she has designed a range of hand made cards.
Her work combines the beauty and colours of nature with geometric shapes of modern technology and architecture. Using asymmetrical shapes and layers, her work has a quirkiness that is both unique and original.
Jane's designs are mostly associated with nature, be it a walk in the hills or a hedgerow plant, evocative of Japanese art, a Wabi Sabi way of life –
“a lifestyle where nothing is perfect, allows us the space, time and freedom to live in the moment and enjoy and engage with being creative”.
